RUMOR: Nine Star Wars Films In Development; No Plans For Yoda Spin-Off

'Star Wars' voice actor Tom Kane confirmed that while nine spin-off films are in development, there are no plans for a Yoda solo flick.

Star Wars voice actor Tom Kane confirmed that while nine films are in development, there are no plans for a Yoda solo flick.

Kane was in All Star Comic-Con when he revealed the news. The actor has voiced Yoda in several animated shows and video games. He was reportedly hesitant to share the information, but was able to confirm that there are solo spin-offs that will be announced in the future.

Obviously, we have Episode IX in production, and Lucasfilm has also given Rian Johnson full reign on a brand new trilogy. Furthermore, there have been rumblings about a solo Obi-Wan Kenobi film, and we know they are working on a solo Boba Fett helmed by Logan director James Mangold.

Check out the tweet about Kane’s comments from Star Wars Bookworms podcast host Aaron Goins below!
