Yes, Darth Maul was indeed in Solo: A Star Wars Story. Not for very long and in a hologram while speaking to Emilia Clarke, but still there nonetheless. Still, it’s a role that actor Ray Park has taken very seriously since first stepping into the role in The Phantom Menace back in 1999.
And while Ray Park, like any actor or person in the industry, has a few amount of trolls or less than nice fans in the comments section of his posts on social media, he still had to call attention not merely to that, but his workout regiment.
Recently, the Solo: A Star Wars Story actor shared a photo on his Instagram page of him working out with the caption that, among many things, read: “…I know there are a few people that have no clue what I do, or how it works. Please remember I was 22 on Ep1 training 15hrs a day. For Solo I was getting a good 3-4 hours in of training with a serious hip injury, I had been suffering from for a few years which prevented me from doing a lot of what I love with my workouts.”
All to point out that Park is an actor who achieved the physique he has all on his own and, despite a few jabs and pokes from folks online, he takes his role in the Star Wars universe very seriously. Here, have a look at the image in the Instagram post below.
