The fourth season of Star Wars Rebels will start to draw things to a close with a pair of two-part episodes and a breakneck schedule.
Jedi-Bibliothek has uncovered the episode names for the first six episodes of the last season of Star Wars Rebels, and it’s been revealed that the show will have a pair of two-part episodes at the start instead of a single double-length episode:
- Episodes 1 & 2: “Heroes of Mandalore: Part 1 & 2” (October 16, 2017)
- Episodes 3 & 4: “In the Name of the Rebellion: Part 1 & 2” (October 23, 2017)
- Episode 5: “The Occupation” (October 30, 2017)
- Episode 6: “Flight of the Defender” (October 30, 2017)
Given that “The Occupation” and “Flight of the Defender” both air on the same day – and that they don’t appear to be related episodes – it appears as though Lucasfilm’s release pattern for the remainder of the show’s sixteen episodes will be to air two episodes every Monday. Provided that the schedule continues and there are no hiatuses, this would mean that the show could wrap up before Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters.
Star Wars Rebels will conclude with its fourth and final season starting October 16. The series features the voice cast of Freddie Prinze Jr. as Kanan, Vanessa Marshall as Hera, Steve Blum as Zeb, Tiya Sircar as Sabine, Taylor Gray as Ezra, Dee Bradley Baker as Captain Rex, David Oyelowo as Agent Kallus, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Warwick Davis as Rukh.
