Captain Marvel has become the target of online trolls who brought down the film’s Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score to the lowest rating of any MCU movie, which caught the attention of Star: Wars: The Last Jedi Director Rian Johnson. Of course, Johnson is no stranger to being the focus of online trolls as his entry in the Star Wars saga experienced the same reaction from vocally disgruntled “fans.” However, Rian Johnson showed his support for Captain Marvel by saying that receiving a low audience score from trolls on Rotten Tomatoes is essentially the equivalent of earning site’s “Certified Fresh” badge.
