‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’ Sith Troopers Officially Revealed

Lucasfilm has officially revealed the new Sith Troopers that will appear in J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Per Star Wars tradition, the upcoming film will introduce a brand-new Stormtrooper design to the galaxy. The Sith Trooper was leaked and rumored for sometime and Lucasfilm has now confirmed the new trooper. The Sith Trooper sports an all-red look that looks reminiscent of both First Order Stormtroopers and Clone Troopers. Star Wars fans will also recognize the name derives from the Knights of the Old Republic game. This is also one of the rare instances the name Sith has been brought up in the sequel trilogy.

The new trooper announcement was made on The Star Wars Show, with various Sith Trooper products available for purchase at next week’s San Diego Comic Con. You can get a first look at the Sith Trooper and the many products that will be available at San Diego Comic Con below:

Carrie Fisher will appear as General Leia Organa through the use of previously unreleased footage shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will be released in theaters on December 19, 2019.
