‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’ Concept Art Spotlights Key Luke & Leia Scene

A newly-released piece of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker concept art puts the spotlight on the Jedi training sequence with Luke and Leia.

The Rise of Skywalker answered a question fans have had for years: did Luke train Leia after the events of Return of the Jedi? As it turns out, Luke did train Leia and the film had an awesome flashback of the two de-aged. The moment was also brought to life with scenes from Return of the Jedi and Carrie Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd, playing a young Leia.

The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was released this week alongside the home release of the film. The art-book features plenty of stunning designs from the final film in the Skywalker Saga. Concept artist Andrée Wallin shared his piece of the Luke and Leia Jedi training scene on Instagram that you can see below.

Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Ian McDiarmid, and Billy Dee Williams. Carrie Fisher will appear as General Leia Organa through the use of previously unreleased footage shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is now available on Digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
