Watch Stephen Amell Take On The ‘American Ninja Warrior’ Course

Stephen Amell previously expressed interest in competing in an American Ninja Warrior. Thankfully, the Arrow star finally got the opportunity to showcase what he’s made of on the series.

In honor of Red Nose day, NBC’s special edition of Celebrity Ninja Warrior featured Amell taking on the challenging ninja warrior course.

Amell is known to commit to the physicality of playing Oliver Queen/Green Arrow on his television series. Each new season has pushed him to newer heights in terms of action spectacle, and seeing him utilize much of his physical skills in Celebrity Ninja Warrior is entertaining to watch – especially given that it is for a good cause like Red Nose Day.

You can watch his run of the course in the video down below in which he helped raise $35,000 ($5,000 per obstacle) to help stop child poverty.

Amell wasn’t the only DC actor to participate in Red Nose Day. The Batman himself, Ben Affleck appeared in an NBC special in which he channeled his inner Dark Knight as he impersonated Christian Bale’s iconic voice as the caped crusader.

It’s always great to see some of the performers who portray our favorite superheroes use some of their time to help support good causes like this. It really goes to show that they are heroes both on and off camera.
