Stephen Amell Suits Up For The Final Season Of ‘Arrow’ In New Set Photos

The final season of Arrow just started filming and you can see the first look at star Stephen Amell suited up as the Emerald Archer for the first time this season.

Arrow‘s final season is coming up in October. Fans can get a sneak peek at Stephen Amell prepping to play the Green Arrow for the last time in the first set photos from the new season. In the photos, Stephen Amell is wearing a hoodie on top of the Arrow costume with the dark eye makeup he usually sports behind his eye mask. You can check out the first look Stephen Amell suited up for the final season of Arrow below!

Stephen Amell and the Arrow crew have been teasing the final season this month with photos of a new suit and a video. The final season will officially wrap-up the series’ eight-season run, but the other Arrowverse shows will still continue production. Stephen Amell also teased production on the final season earlier this week with an Instagram photo captioned “One last time.”

Besides Arrow, Stephen Amell will star in the Canadian film Code 8, a follow-up to a short film of the same name he starred in in 2016. Stephen Amell has participated in Wrestling, but nothing more has been announced.

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, Oliver successfully saved his city with the help of his team including former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), former protégé Roy Harper (Colton Haynes), street-savvy Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez), metahuman Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy), brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum) and Earth-2 Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). In the wake of discovering what his future holds, Oliver will find himself pit against his most challenging battle yet, one that will leave the multiverse hanging in the balance. In Arrow’s final season, Oliver Queen is forced to confront the reality of what it means to be a hero.
