Throughout the past few weeks, we’ve been given various photos from the crossover, such as the Kents and Kara at the Kent farm, Oliver and Barry swapping superhero suits, and even the black suit for Superman. But one recent revelation was that John Wesley Shipp’s Barry Allen from the 90s Flash series would be joining in on the fun, thus paying off seeing that Flash in the multiverse way back in the first season of the current Flash series. And now, in another photo, Stephen Amell had a chance to meet the original speedster.
In a photo shared on his Twitter last night, Stephen Amell, suited up in Barry Allen’s current Flash costume, stands alongside John Wesley Shipp’s Flash, with the caption stating “Who said you should never meet your heroes?” Have a look at the Flashes coming together and worlds colliding in the photo below from the Elseworlds crossover:
There are indeed a lot of worlds colliding in this upcoming CW Elseworlds crossover between Supergirl, The Flash, and Arrow. We’ve got the 90s Flash joining in on the action. Who else could make an appearance? Someone from Smallville? Lois and Clark? Hey, it’s the Multiverse. What if they managed to bring in Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen for a moment? I can dream, but let us know your thoughts on the upcoming Elseworlds crossover so far and what do you think of Stephen Amell and John Wesley Shipp joining forces as Flashes of different worlds?
The Arrowverse “Elseworlds” crossover starts on Sunday, December 9 with The Flash, continues on December 10 with Arrow, and concludes with Supergirl on December 11. The special will air on the CW.
