Considering that Snyder’s three superhero movies (Watchmen, Man Of Steel, and Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice) have collectively grossed over $1.7B in theaters alone and that his movies have consistently sold well on home video, it’s pretty hard to argue that he’s completely unappreciated. But in any case, it’s good to see another one of Marvel’s leading creators reach out to support their Distinguished Competition – perhaps one day, talent behind Marvel and DC’s respective film divisions might be shared in the same way that talent working on their comic books go back and forth between working with each of the Big Two.
A third season of Steven DeKnight’s Daredevil is in development, and while no air date has been given, it is expected to be released some time after the first season of The Defenders arrives. Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be released on November 17, 2017.
