Storm Reid Discusses Working On James Gunn’s ‘The Suicide Squad’

Storm Reid reveals that she’s finished work on James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and discusses working with the director.

In a new interview Storm Reid revealed that she’s already finished shooting her role for James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and revealed what the director is like to work with. Storm Reid will play Idris Elba’s daughter in The Suicide Squad, but it isn’t clear yet how prominent her role in the DC film will be. But in her recent interview with Collider it sounds like Storm Reid found it enjoyable to work with James Gunn on The Suicide Squad.

When discussing The Suicide Squad and working with director James Gunn, Storm Reid explained that she was already a fan of the franchise so she loved being part of the sequel. But the actress also mentioned that James Gunn was a joy to work with while also being incredibly talented at his job. “He’s incredible, like the nicest person but also super-duper talented. And I have filmed my piece in Suicide Squad 2 so I can’t wait to see that all come together. I was a fan of the franchise before so now to be a part of it is really cool.”

The first Suicide Squad followed a team of supervillains who were recruited by the government for a dangerous black ops mission in exchange for reduced sentences. The ensemble cast included Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker. However, James Gunn is expected to deliver on the fresh take on the Suicide Squad in his upcoming movie.
