In an interview with Variety, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown revealed that she didn’t get stage fright when she auditioned for the role opposite Hugh Jackman, who played James “Logan” Howlett (Wolverine). When reflecting on her Logan audition, Brown said the following:
“I was like, ‘It’s going to be amazing, I’m going to really prepare,’ and I sat in my room reading the lines. Honestly, for me, I felt so — I felt an actor, in the audition room, hitting Hugh Jackman, and James Mangold sitting right in front of me.”
While the Stranger Things star didn’t get the part (Dafne Keen got to play X-23), she was a good sport and watched the movie when it came out a few months ago, and she took a moment to praise Keen’s performance:
“I watched it; she was incredible. It meant so much to me.”
