Millie Bobby Brown will return as Eleven in the second season of Netflix's Stranger Things, which will debut on the streaming service in 2017.
The series was renewed for a nine-episode second season in August, but creators Matt and Ross Duffer wouldn’t confirm whether or not the fan favorite character would be returning. Netflix representatives declined to comment on TV Line’s report, but the site seems confident that Millie Bobby Brown will return as a series regular.
The second season will be set in the fall of 1984, almost a year after the events of the first one. Details about the upcoming season are scarce at the moment, but we do know that it will explore more of the Upside Down and new locations outside of Hawkins, Indiana. It will also introduce three new characters, two of which have already been cast.
Stranger Things season 2 will debut on Netflix in 2017. In the meantime, you can check out the excellent first season on the streaming service. It’s worth your time.
