A new Stranger Things trailer may soon be upon us.
After three incredibly successful seasons, the fourth season of Stranger Things was quickly put into production. Unfortunately, like so many other films and television shows the series was delayed due to ongoing concerns over the Covid-19 pandemic. According to star David Harbour, had it not been for the pandemic, the show would have been released in early 2020. In that time we’ve only had one major teaser for the upcoming season, which made its debut back in early 2020. But now it seems the first official trailer may not be far off.
Earlier today the Stranger Things Writers Room Twitter account posted a cryptic message asking if people were ready. Soon after a video was posted on YouTube with a description that said Hawkins National Laboratory would be back up and running up at 9 AM on May 6th. You can see the full Tweet and video below:

Here is the official synopsis for the third season of Stranger Things:
“It’s 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana, and summer’s heating up. School’s out, there’s a brand new mall in town, and the Hawkins crew are on the cusp of adulthood. Romance blossoms and complicates the group’s dynamic, and they’ll have to figure out how to grow up without growing apart. Meanwhile, danger looms. When the town’s threatened by enemies old and new, Eleven and her friends are reminded that evil never ends; it evolves. Now they’ll have to band together to survive, and remember that friendship is always stronger than fear.”
Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Dacre Montgomery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, and Cara Buono.
