Netflix Finally Releases First ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Trailer

Netflix has finally released the first trailer for Stranger Things 3, revealing the first look at Millie Bobby Brown’s return along with the rest of the cast in the next season of the smash hit series.

After teasing it on social media, the streaming service surprised fans with the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Stranger Things 3 today, offering the first look at the next adventure for Chief Hopper, Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max. Plot details remain under wraps, but the new season takes place almost a year after Stranger Things 2, picking up with the town of Hawkins in the summer of 1985.

Although Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven sealed off Hawkins and closed the gate to the Upside Down in the Stranger Things 2 finale, the Mind Flayer has been previously confirmed as the main villain to return and will be back along with new forces of evil as Hawkins looks to have a bit of a rat problem going on while the Upside Down tries once again to take over again. Stranger Things executive producer and director Shawn Levy has also teased the upcoming third season will deal with new forces of evil, as the third season gives Noah Schnapp’s Will Byers a bit of a break from the Upside Down’s monsters.
