‘Stranger Things 3’ Trailer Is Netflix’s Most-Watched YouTube Video Yet

Stranger Things is undoubtedly one of the most-talked-about original shows on Netflix and continues to be so. The trailer for the upcoming third season just became the streaming service’s most-watched video on YouTube.

After debuting on YouTube, the trailer for Stranger Things 3 has officially become Netflix’s most-viewed video on the site. The trailer currently boats well over 21 million views and counting. It appears as though the anticipation is still high for the nostalgia-based sci-fi series.

The new record surpasses Netflix’s previously most-watched YouTube video, which also was a trailer for Stranger Things. The second season preview wound up with over 19 million hits prior to its October release.

The next-largest hit count for a Netflix YouTube video was another trailer, this one for the Sandra Bullock apocalypse thriller Bird Box. The trailer wracked up over 18 million views after all was said and done.

Season three will feature eight new episodes of the hit series, returning to the episode count of the first season rather than the nine episodes produced for the second season. You can check out the full list of episode titles below.

1.“Suzie, Do You Copy?”
2. “The Mallrats”
3. “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard”
4. “The Sauna Test”
5. “The Source”
6. “The Birthday”
7. “The Bite”
8. “The Battle of Starcourt”

Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, and Dacre Montgomery. New additions to the cast for season three include Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, and Francesca Reale.

Stranger Things 3 hits Netflix this Summer on July 4. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the third season of Stranger Things as we learn it.
