‘Supergirl’: Chyler Leigh Teases Alex & Maggie Will Take Their Relationship To The ‘Next Level’

It has been a difficult season of Supergirl for Alex Danvers. While her budding romance with detective Maggie Sawyer has been a bright spot in her life, Alex had recently been dealing with her father’s betrayal and subsequent recapturing by Cadmus. However, with Cadmus subdued for the time being, it appears Alex and Maggie may be given some time to focus on each other. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, series star Chyler Leigh discussed Maggie and Alex’s future and teased a significant step forward in their relationship.

Leigh commented on the progression of Alex’s and Maggie’s relationship.

“They have a lot to grow together, but they are realizing how serious they are about each other, so I think there’s some things coming up that would take it maybe to the next level.”

How do you think Alex and Maggie’s relationship will unfold? Hopefully for the better. Share your thoughts below!

Supergirl continues next week with the episode titled “Star-Crossed“, which will feature the debut of guest star Teri Hatcher and kick-off the musical crossover with The Flash.
