‘Supergirl’: Closer Look At The New Characters Joining Season Two

Mon-El (Chris Wood)

Sent from Krypton’s doomed sister planet, Daxam, Mon-El was the man in the pod at the end of season one. Mon-El represents someone who is brand new to the whole superhero thing, much like Kara was last year. One day he’s on Daxam, the next he’s in a pod on Earth and everything he once knew is gone. According to Kriesberg, Kara will begin to teach him the things she has learned in her time on our planet.

“The destruction of Krypton also resulted in a very bad day for Daxam — that’s how he escaped that cataclysm and came to Earth. He’s fresh off the boat. As far as he’s concerned, he got into a pod on Daxam on then the next day was on Earth. Now she has somebody to mentor.”

But at the end of the day – can he actually be trusted? Kriesberg answered this question with logic:

“Can you trust anybody?”

So, on that ominous note, do you think Mon-El really is who they are saying he is, or are they trying for a Harrison Wells tactic here?

Jack of some trades, master of some others. That saying never really made a lot of sense to me.
