‘Supergirl’: Closer Look At The New Characters Joining Season Two

With less than a month until its CW premier, Supergirl season two is speeding towards our living rooms almost as quick as the Scarlet Speedster himself. There was a bit of a shake up between seasons one and two, as the series switched networks and moved filming locations to Vancouver to join its cousins Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. With a new season and a new network, naturally there will also be some significant casting changes.

The largest casting change involves Calista Flockhart, who plays Kara’s overly charismatic boss, Cat Grant. Flockhart will no longer be a series regular as she did not move along with the rest of production. Although season two is loosing Cat Grant, it is also adding a significant number of newcomers to the mix, from Kara’s infamous Big Blue Boy Scout of a cousin all the way to someone I personally never imaged they would do in live action – Miss Martian.

Entertainment Weekly spoke with one of the show’s head-honchos, EP Andrew Kreisberg, about all the new characters coming to Supergirl in season two. Check out the following pages for all the character “intel” they have gathered.

Jack of some trades, master of some others. That saying never really made a lot of sense to me.
