On Supergirl, Season 2 returned with an emphasis on Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) life as a reporter and her burgeoning friendship with Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) while Gotham saw Edward Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) embrace the The Riddler identity.
According to TV By The Numbers, Supergirl only hit a 0.5 demo rating and 1.80 million views, which is a new series low. On the other hand, Gotham hit a 1.0 rating and 2.99 million viewers, which ties its previous low.
Next week on Supergirl, Alex (Chyler Leigh) finds herself in trouble and Kara and Maggie (Floriana Lima) must join forces to save her in “Alex.” Over on Gotham, The Court of Owls is up to no good as Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon) directs in “These Delicate and Dark Obsessions.”
