‘Supergirl’ Casts Louis Ozawa Changchien As DC Comics’ The Hat

ComicBook.com reports Kidding and Predators star Louis Ozawa Changchien has been cast DC Comics’ The Hat in the fourth season of Supergirl.

According to TheCW, Louis Ozawa Changchien’s The Hat will be introduced in the episode titled “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice And The American Way,” which shares the name of the story that introduced Manchester Black and The Elite in Joe Kelly and Doug Mahnke’s Action Comics #775. The outlet reports the Supergirl episode will find The Hat joining forces with Manchester Black, Menagerie and The Morae to battle both Supergirl and the Children of Liberty.

In DC Comics, The Elite is a team of superpowered characters who initially to try and prove that Superman is too gentle with criminals before some members merged with the Justice League to form The Justice League Elite.

COLONEL HALEY IS DETERMINED TO FIND OUT SUPERGIRL’S IDENTITY – Colonel Haley (April Parker Jones) is upset after Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) responds to a distress call from a Navy ship that turned out to be a deadly alien attack. Colonel Haley reclaims the site as DEO territory and demands that Supergirl step aside. After Supergirl refuses to be told what to do, Haley refocuses her energy on finding out Supergirl’s true identity and begins to interrogate all DEO agents, including Alex (Chyler Leigh). Meanwhile, Brainiac-5 (Jesse Rath) tries to persuade Nia (Nicole Maines) to embrace her superpowers but she misinterprets his motives. Rachel Talalay directed the episode written by Maria Maggenti & Gabriel Llanas (#410).

Supergirl airs on Sunday at 8:00 P.M. on The CW.
