On Sunday, Dean Cain took to Twitter to criticize the teen who egged Australian politician Fraser Anning and fans responded by skewering the former Superman actor on social media.
In response to the tragic terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, Australian senator Fraser Anning blamed immigration and Muslims for the attack, prompting a wave of backlash and calls for the politician to be removed from parliament. Over the weekend, 17-year-old Will Connolly caught the attention of the internet after cracking a raw egg on Fraser Anning’s head after the horrible comments made by the senator. While many supported the young man’s actions, others took to social media to criticize him, including former Superman actor Dean Cain.
In a post on his official Twitter account, Dean Cain stated he would “knocked that kid cold,” prompting fans and celebrities to support Will Connolly and skewer the former Superman actor, noting that he could learn something from the character he portrayed in the ’90s television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

Dean Cain’s boast that he would have knocked out a teenager led me to his bio, starts off with some fun alliteration but oddly finishes with him calling himself stupid pic.twitter.com/pE6f57Z2mV
