‘Justice League’ Star Henry Cavill Gets Black Superman Suit & Beard In New Fan Art

New artwork imagines Henry Cavill’s Superman with the iconic black suit and beard after his resurrection in Justice League.

Since Zack Snyder’s Justice League underwent heavy reshoots, fans never got to see Superman actor Henry Cavill with the iconic black suit after his character’s resurrection during the third act of the movie. Now a new piece of fan art reimagines one of the film’s deleted scenes, with Henry Cavill’s Superman wearing the black suit while also sporting a beard – almost exactly like the comics. However, Henry Cavill doesn’t have Superman’s long hair like his comic book counterpart after his fight with Doomsday.

The artwork comes from a digital artist known as “skull101ify,” who uses the “you must be Alfred” scene from Justice League as the inspiration for the piece showing Henry Cavill’s Superman with the black suit and beard. This is a great look at the black Superman suit and it makes you wonder what would have happened if Zack Snyder’s Justice League had kept the idea. You can see Henry Cavill’s Superman with the black outfit and beard for Justice League in the Instagram below.
