After his death in Batman v Superman, Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel was mostly hidden from the Justice League marketing campaign. There was one scene in particular at the end of a Justice League trailer, which showed Alfred being confronted by someone. That, someone, was later revealed to be Henry Cavill’s Superman, but that scene was later cut from the final film. Another cut moment from Justice League saw Henry Cavill and the black Superman suit. Many DCEU fans expected Henry Cavill’s Superman would return donning the black suit, but that ended up not being the case. However, new fan art from Skull101ify reimagines Superman’s return in Justice League:
Do you think we will see Henry Cavill return as Superman in the future? Sound off in the comments below!
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.
Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
