Henry Cavill Dons ‘Justice League Of Tomorrow’ Superman Suit In New Image

Henry Cavill’s Superman dons the Justice League of Tomorrow costume in this awesome new image.

The DCEU films followed the Death of Superman and Return of Superman story arcs from the comics loosely. Although Henry Cavill’s Superman was killed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice but returned in Justice League, we never actually got to see Henry Cavill don the black Superman suit from the comics and while we’ve seen fan art depicting it, one fan, in particular, took it even further. Digital artist Dalton Barrett shows us what Henry Cavill’s Superman would look like should he don the Justice League of Tomorrow costume.

You can check out what Henry Cavill would look like with the Justice League of Tomorrow costume below.

Unfortunately, Henry Cavill himself was not featured Aquaman or the Shazam! movie. Rumors circulated for months about a possible Superman cameo in Shazam!, but that didn’t exactly happen. A double is featured in the Superman costume but only seen from the neck down at the end of the movie, without Henry Cavill appearing in a shot of the movie at all.

Henry Cavill’s future as Superman remains in question but the actor will soon take on the lead role Netflix’s adaptation of The Witcher. Based on the fantasy series of novels and short stories by Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher will follow Henry Cavill as the monster slayer for hire named Geralt of Rivia. Showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich will also serve as an executive producer on the series while Alik Sakharov, Alex Garcia Lopez, and Charlotte Brandstrom are on board as directors for the eight-episode first season.

Do you hope Henry Cavill’s Superman will return? Do you like this image of Henry Cavill donning the Justice League of Tomorrow suit? Let us know in the comments below!

Henry Cavill was last seen as Superman in Justice League. Here is the official synopsis for the movie:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
