While the magazine headline states “Superman! Henry Cavill,” the interview contains no mention of his role as the Man of Steel, something Cosmic Book News assumes is because the topic was put off limits by the actor’s PR team. Henry Cavill’s future has been in doubt ever since reports surfaced about his manager and Warner Bros. being in heated contract negotiations. Fan concerns were exacerbated when Cavill landed the lead role Netflix’s adaptation of The Witcher.
Henry Cavill most recently portrayed Superman in Justice League. He has so far played the iconic DC Comics character three times since his DC Extended Universe debut in 2013’s Man of Steel.
