Warner Bros. Issues Statement On Reports About Henry Cavill’s Superman Future

Last week, it was reported that Henry Cavill will no longer be playing Superman in Warner Bros.’ DC Extended Universe films. Now, the studio has released a statement in response to the reports about Henry Cavill’s future as the Man of Steel.

While the reports indicated that Henry Cavill was leaving the role of Superman as the studio considers taking the character in a new direction, a Warner Bros. spokesperson stated that no decision regarding future Superman projects have been made:

While no decisions have been made regarding any upcoming Superman films, we’ve always had great respect for and a great relationship with Henry Cavill, and that remains unchanged.
