Check Out Storyboards For J. J. Abrams’ Canceled Superman Film

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse co-director Peter Ramsey has revealed new storyboards he drew for J. J. Abrams’ canceled Superman: Flyby film.

Long before Henry Cavill donned the costume and helped launch the DC Extended Universe with Man of Steel, J. J. Abrams wrote a script for a new project featuring the classic DC hero titled Superman Flyby. Of course, the film never came to fruition but it continues to be a subject of interest for both fans of Superman and J. J. Abrams.

Now, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse co-director Peter Ramsey has shared storyboards he designed for J. J. Abrams’ Superman: Flyby, noting that while the project was ultimately canceled, he still had fun working on the film. The storyboards depict a scene in which Superman is seemingly pursuing an evil Kryptonian named Ty-Zor through space and the streets of Metropolis.
