Superman & Lois Lane Receive Some Major News In Elseworlds Event

Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin), aka Superman, and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) got two major upgrades to their relationship during the finale of the Elseworlds event on The CW.

*SPOILER WARNING FOR PART THREE OF ELSEWORLDS BELOW*

Superman and Lois Lane are one of the most iconic couples in pop culture. The power couple was not initially a major part of The CW’s Arrowverse but eventually, Superman joined Supergirl. In the latest Arrowverse event Elseworlds, which concluded with an episode of Supergirl last night, Lois Lane was finally introduced.

Thanks to the heroes of the Arrowverse, the conflict of Elseworlds was resolved and near the end of the episode, Lois & Superman had some pretty shocking news for Kara (Melissa Benoist). It turns out that Lois Lane and the Man of Steel are expecting a child. That’s right, a new Kent is on the way but that’s not where the changes for the couple end.

After Superman and Lois leave Earth and retire back Argo to deal with the unique pregnancy in a safe place, the Man of Steel fumbles some very sweet remarks to his beloved. Lois reminds him to “Be direct” with what he’s trying to say and that’s when Supes grabs a burning hot coal and crushes it to create a demand, which he then puts into a ring and, of course, proposes to Lois.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Superman and Lois Lane in the Arrowverse as soon as more information becomes available. Are you happy to see the two DC icons get engaged? Would you like to see a show in the Arrowverse starring just Supes and Lois? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
