‘Superman & Lois’ Might Start Production Sooner Than Expected

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch could start filming very soon.

The CW could start filming Superman & Lois sooner than expected according to a new report coming out of Vancouver.

While the Arrowverse is getting back to work this week with Batwoman, it seems the network will start production on Superman & Lois sooner than many fans expected as the pandemic continues to cause major disruptions throughout the film and TV industry. Variety recently confirmed that Batwoman is resuming production from Wednesday, but it also revealed when The CW might begin work on Superman & Lois.

The report revealed that the network is planning to start filming Superman & Lois and its Kung Fu reboot next week as long as there aren’t any further delays to the testing system in place for cast and crew. Both Batwoman and Riverdale were both already briefly shutdown due to the the lab giving priority to tests from schools and local businesses. So if the lab is inundated with more covid-19 tests, work on Superman & Lois could be delayed further – but for the moment the plan is to start next week.
