Former Supernatural star Madison McLaughlin will be joining the cast of The CW’s Arrow.
Stephen Amell took to Twitter to announce that McLaughlin would be joining the cast on Season 4 but provided few details. “Please welcome @MadisonMcLaugh to #Arrow. She plays (redacted) in ep (redacted) & is an expert tailgater in real life,” wrote Amell. “So we’re friends now.”
A recent casting breakdown might have more clues regarding McLaughlin’s new role. The casting called for a teenage character who appears in Episode 19 and was described as a “smart, snarky” “escapee of a dangerous cult.” This breakdown indicated that the role had potential to become a recur.
Showerrunners have not confirmed any details regarding this new character.
Along with Supernatural, McLaughlin has been featured on Girl Meets World, Major Crimes and Mad Men.
This season of Arrow has been adding in new characters, including appearance last night from Vixen/Mari McCabe.
Arrow airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
