Telltale Games Lists ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ As Future Project

'Guardians of the Galaxy' was included on a list of future titles that will be released by Telltale Games, along with a third season of 'The Walking Dead'.

It appears that Telltale is developing a Guardians of the Galaxy game.

Telltale games is known for their comic book and fantasy adaptions, creating games for the Batman franchise, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, and many more. So far, they have not yet made a Marvel game, but according to a revelation from the SAG-AFTRA strike, there may be a game based on Marvel characters coming soon.

It was revealed in April of 2015 that Telltale would be using a newly acquired Marvel license to release a game in 2017. We now know that it will most likely be a game based on characters from the hit Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy.

SAG-AFTRA, a voice-acting union, went into wage negotiations and as a result a list that included future titles with voice-over jobs was released. The list included both a season 3 of The Walking Dead and Guardians of the Galaxy for Telltale games.

This is far from any sort of “official confirmation”, but it is from a reliable source and the situation makes sense as to why this information would have been released.

For those of you living under a rock, Guardians of the Galaxy is a sucessful movie franchise that takes place in the Marvel Universe, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to be released on May 5th, 2017, both directed by James Gunn.

Do you think that Telltale will release a Guardians of the Galaxy game, and are you looking forward to it? Make sure to let us know below in the comments.
