‘Terminator 2 3D’ Trailer: See The Classic Like Never Before

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is widely considered to be director James Cameron’s magnum opus and one of his biggest hits. Distrib Films US is bringing the movie back to the big screen late into Summer, and for the first time, you’ll be able to catch the movie in 3-D.

Distrib Films US converted the film into 3D in order to capitalize on the popularity of the format and to revitalize the hit film. Terminator 2 is set over a decade after the events of the original movie, which left Sarah Connor to survive on her own to raise her son John, who will become the savior of humanity in the post-apocalyptic future. The sequel picks up after Connor is sent to a mental institution after failing to bomb a Cyberdyne factor, leaving her son in the care of foster parents. Two Terminators are sent back to the past at this time – one an advanced prototype from Skynet sent to kill John, and one sent by John’s future self to ensure his own survival. The Terminators set off a series of events that reunite the Connor family – and change the shape of the future forever.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day will be back in 3D on August 25, 2017. Its cast includes Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator (T-800), Edward Furlong as John Connor, Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor, Robert Patrick as the T-1000, Joe Morton as Miles Bennett Dyson, and Earl Boen as Dr. Peter Silberman.
