Terrence Howard Talks Possible Return To Marvel

In a recent interview, Iron Man actor Terrence Howard talked about a possible return to Marvel. Sadly he did not seem thrilled with the idea.

During the interview an audience member was allowed to ask a question where he was asked if Terrence Howard was willing to come back as War Machine. However, he did not seem to have any interest in returning to Marvel and disagreed with the direction they were taking with the character:

You know what’s so funny? Even though I love Don Cheadle so much and I love what he’s done, I still hear a lot of fans asking, ‘Am I going to come back and be War Machine? Am I going to come back and be War Machine?’ I think they could have a huge franchise off of it, but f-ck em.

From the sound of things, Terrence Howard still has bitter feelings about Marvel. The falling out between Howard and Marvel came about due to pay disputes. It was reported that he was the highest paid actor in the first Iron Man film and was promised a pay raise for his next two appearances. Marvel reportedly went back on the deal and Terrence Howard would not accept a pay cut. This resulted in him being replaced with actor Don Cheadle who has portrayed the character since Iron Man 2.

What did you all make of the replacement? Do you think Terrence Howard was better in the role or has Don Cheadle been a suitable replacement? Let us know what you think in the comments below, and be sure to continue following Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news in the MCU.
