‘Avengers: Endgame’ Reveals First Footage Of Tessa Thompson’s Return As Valkyrie

A new TV spot for Avengers: Endgame reveals the first look at Tessa Thompson’s return as Valkyrie since she debuted in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok.

After being absent for the events of Avengers: Infinity War, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie was confirmed to have survived both Thanos’ attack on the Asgardians, as well as his snap that decimated half of the universe after the Mad Titan acquired all six Infinity Stones.

With just five days left until the Marvel epic hits theaters, Avengers: Endgame has finally revealed the first footage of Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie. While Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie was previously given the spotlight on her own character poster and featured on other posters for Avengers: Endgame since then, this is the first we’ve actually seen of Tessa Thompson in the film.

You can check out the first look at Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie in Avengers: Endgame below!

So what do you think? Are you excited to see Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie back in the mix as the Avengers take on Thanos again? Let us know in the comments below!

Tessa Thompson recently revealed that a fourth Thor film with Taika Waititi back at the helm may have been pitched. In addition to Avengers: Endgame, Tessa Thompson is also set to co-star with Thor actor Chris Hemsworth in the upcoming Men In Black spin-off, Men In Black: International.

Avengers: Endgame will serve as both a follow up to Avengers: Infinity War as well as the conclusion to the 22 films that came before Marvel officially ends Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man: Far From Home in July. Marvel was thought to be ending the third phase of the MCU with Avengers: Endgame before moving into the next phase with the highly-anticipated Spider-Man sequel, however, Marvel Studios president revealed earlier today that Spider-Man: Far From Home would actually be the last film in the MCU’s third phase rather than Avengers: Endgame.

Here is the plot synopsis for Avengers: Endgame:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers:Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we learn it.
