‘The Falcon And The Winter Soldier’ Production Delay Could Push Disney Plus Release

Production was halted back in March due to the pandemic.

A new report suggests the delay to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier‘s production could push the Disney Plus release for the series into 2021.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is one of the most anticipated Marvel projects for fans as the Disney Plus series promises to provide a blockbuster-scale adventure for Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. It was revealed earlier this year the production would return to Prague in October to finish the series, but fans are desperate to learn if it’ll arrive on Disney Plus before the year is out. Most recently, a new look at the costumes for the duo arrived thanks to some merchandise which revealed a full look at Sam’s comic-accurate suit as well as the Bucky’s fresh new style.

But a new report from Murphy’s Multiverse suggests the production is aiming to return to Prague from October through to November, with a plan to finish up before the holidays. Depending on the sequences that are left for the Prague shoot alongside how much post-production work is needed, it seems likely the Disney Plus series won’t arrive on the streaming service in 2020. It isn’t impossible that the series is close to completion and only needs a few more scenes adding into it to finish it off – but a delayed 2021 release seems more reasonable for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
