The first season of The Flash introduced Matt Letscher’s Eobard Thawne, a.k.a. Reverse Flash, as the primary antagonist to Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen. Of course, Team Flash was able to defeat the Reverse-Flash, though Letscher would reprise the role in subsequent seasons of the Arrowverse series.
However, when Reverse-Flash returned for the fifth season of Grant Gustin’s The Flash, the character was played Tom Cavanagh, who had portrayed Eobard Thawne when he assumed the form of Harrison Wells. Now, a digital artist who goes by “BritEdit” on Instagram has shared a fan edit that imagines Matt Letscher returning to the role of Reverse Flash with a brand new costume.
