‘The Irishman’ Actor Stephen Graham Joins Tom Hardy’s ‘Venom’ Sequel

The Irishman actor Stephen Graham will be joining Tom Hardy in the upcoming Venom sequel directed by Andy Serkis.

Right off the heels of The Irishman which was released to critical acclaim, Stephen Graham will be starring in the highly-anticipated sequel to the smash-hit Venom. Starring as villain Tony Pro in The Irishman, Stephen Graham was singled out for his  layered performance as an affiliate of Jimmy Hoffa. Seeing as Stephen Graham was witnessed by millions of viewers last week on Netflix thanks to The Irishman, it makes sense to announce that he’ll be joining Tom Hardy’s Venom sequel at the height of his popularity.

Deadline reported earlier today that The Irishman star Stephen Graham is set to share the screen with Tom Hardy. Ironically, The Irishman star Stephen Graham played Al Capone on the HBO show Boardwalk Empire, a role that Tom Hardy will be occupying in Josh Trank’s upcoming Fonzo. Perhaps both actors can bond over playing the same role on the set of the Venom sequel. Despite being cast in the film, there’s currently no indication as to who he’ll be playing in the Venom sequel. We know that Woody Harrelson will be playing Carnage in the Venom sequel, so it’s most likely that Stephen Graham won’t be playing a villain, though he would be perfect for such a role. In general, details for Tom Hardy’s Venom sequel are slim, though more should flow in considering the film is currently filming.
