‘The Mandalorian’: Din Djarin & Baby Yoda Return In First Season 2 Images

The first images from The Mandalorian season two are here.

Din Djarin and Baby Yoda are back in the first images from the second season of the Disney Plus series The Mandalorian.

Entertainment Weekly is pulling back the curtain on the second season of The Mandalorian, as the magazine has unveiled the first images from the next chapter of the Disney Plus series. The images feature Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, a.k.a. the titular Mandalorian, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga and Gina Carano as Cara Dune. Also featured in the images is Baby Yoda, the adorable green creature officially known as “The Child.”

The second season of The Mandalorian is currently set to premiere on October 30th. The Disney Plus series recently scored 15 Emmy nominations, including outstanding drama series and visual effects.

Here is the official synopsis for The Mandalorian season one:

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte. The Star Wars series was written by Jon Favreau, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist is also on board as a co-executive producer.
