This is the way.
The Mandalorian season one came out last November, but unlike most Star Wars live-action projects, the series didn’t receive any tie-in material. That will all change when season two comes around in the fall as Disney and Lucasfilm announced several new books for the first-ever live-action Star Wars series.
The upcoming Star Wars books will expand on the story of The Mandalorian and offer more behind-the-scenes details on how the ground-breaking series was brought to life. In addition to upcoming Marvel and IDW comic books, the following titles were announced on StarWars.com:
The Art of The Mandalorian (Season One) by Phil Szostak; cover by Doug Chiang
The Mandalorian: Original Novel (adult novel, Del Rey) by Adam Christopher
The Mandalorian: The Ultimate Visual Guide (DK) by Pablo Hidalgo
The Mandalorian: Allies & Enemies – Level Two Reader (DLP) by Brooke Vitale
The Mandalorian: 8×8 Storybook (title to be revealed later) by Brooke Vitale
The Mandalorian: Junior Novelization by Joe Schreiber

Here is the official synopsis for the series:
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, Bill Burr, Werner Herzog, and Nick Nolte. The Star Wars series was written by Jon Favreau, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilchrist is also on board as a co-executive producer.
The Mandalorian season two will premiere in October on Disney Plus. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on Star Wars and subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content in the future!
