‘The Punisher’ Adds 3 New Cast Members

The Punisher is taking over the news sphere today as Marvel and Netflix has announced three new cast members that has joined the upcoming Frank Castle series. It was revealed that Girls’ Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Indian Summers’ Amber Rose Revah have joined the series, alongside Ben Barnes.

Moss Bachrach will be playing the Marvel Comics character Micro, who is described as a “a former NSA analyst whose secrets may be of great value to Frank Castle and everyone around them” and as this character has been referenced on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before as Daisy Johnson has a connection with him.

Revah will be playing Dinah Madani, “a highly-trained sophisticated Homeland Security agent who is vexed by the Punisher.” As we reported earlier today, Barnes was just recently confirmed to play Billy Russo. Show-runner and executive producer, Steven Lightfoot said this in a statement about the three new cast members.

“I’m really excited about the cast we’re assembling alongside Bernthal as Frank Castle. I look forward to watching Ben, Ebon and Amber embody these characters and breathe vivid life into the story we are crafting for this season of ‘Marvel’s The Punisher.'”

Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb, shared his excitement too about the new additions.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled about the remarkable talent joining Jon Bernthal in ‘Marvel’s The Punisher.’ Ebon, Ben and Amber are incredibly talented actors and we can’t wait to see them bring these characters to life”

The Punisher will be available on Netflix sometime in 2017.
