SDCC banners for the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok, as well as the upcoming Black Pather film have been spotted outside of the convention center in San Diego, CA.
Marvel has already released the teaser trailers for both Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther but the films are expected to have a strong presence at the convention next month. With Thor: Ragnarok, it’s highly possible a full-length trailer could make its debut.
The new banners were captured by freelance photographer Pat Loika and shared on Twitter. The banner for the new Thor features the same key art as the official poster released in April, however, the Black Panther banner looks to be a new image which could perhaps be concept art for a new mask worn by T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) in the film. You can check out the new banners shared on Twitter below.
Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as the titular character, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge and Sam Neill in an undisclosed role. The film hits theaters on November 3rd.
Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Sterling K. Brown, Andy Serkis and John Kan. The film hits theaters on February 16, 2018. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
