Marvel has revealed the brand new series of Funko Pop! Vinyl Figures based on the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok, hitting store shelves the same day as the film.
The line will feature seven awesome-looking Pop! Vinyl figures based on characters from the new film, including the God of Thunder himself Thor, Hulk in his gladiator gear, the dagger-weilding trickster god Loki, the Asgardian Goddess of Death Hela, a second variant of Hela featuring her amazing Headdress, one of the Elders of the Universe the Grandmaster, and the guardian of the Rainbow Bridge Heimdall. The Pops will hit store shelves later this year on November 3rd, the same day as the film’s release. Check out all of the new Pops out in the video below:
These figures look fantastic and will certainly find a nice home on any Funko Pop!-loving Marvel fans’ shelves. My only question is, where’s the Valkyrie Pop!, man?
Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster, Karl Urban as Skurge, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Taika Waititi as Korg, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange and Sam Neill in an undisclosed role. Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth) finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor’s quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela (Cate Blanchett) from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.
