Mark Ruffalo Says Hulk & Banner Are On A Collision Course In ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

The God of Thunder and The Hulk were noticeably absent in Captain America: Civil War, but we’re finally going to find out what the two Avengers have been up to in next year’s Thor: Ragnarok. One thing that the movie will also explore is the relationship between the Jade Giant and Bruce Banner, which will no doubt be interesting to see following the closing moments of Avengers: Age of Ultron, where we saw the character leaving everything behind and flying away to an undisclosed location with a Quinjet.

While doing the press rounds for Now You See Me 2, Mark Ruffalo teased that we’re going to see a clash between the two personalities of the character, which has so far been something that we’ve only had the chance to see in the comics:

“I think the arc that he is ultimately making in his relationship with The Hulk and how that’s gonna resolve itself, that’s really where … nobody has gone to that place. He’s always been running from him or trying to deny it but they are coming for a collision course with each other and i think that could be pretty exciting if we can figure out a way, how to do it — multi-dimensionally. The only person in the world that The Hulk is scared of, or thing, is Banner”

It will be interesting to see whether or not one of the two eventually takes full control of the other at some point in the movie. If that does indeed happen, then here’s hoping that it’s going to be Banner who comes out on top, otherwise things probably won’t end too well for both of them. What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to seeing The Hulk in Thor: Ragnarok? Sound-off your thoughts in the comment section below.
