Jasin Boland, the still photographer for 'Thor: Ragnarok' recently shared an image of director Taika Waititi giving his motion capture performance as Korg.
Jasin Boland, the film’s still photographer, recently shared a look at Waititi bringing Korg to life, minus CGI magic. The image, posted to Boland’s Twitter account, shows Waititi in a motion capture suit with a cutout Korg head on his hat. Interestingly, the image of Korg that Waititi wore shows a rather more menacing design than was used in the finished film. Probably taken from early concept art, this image gives Korg deep-set pale eyes and a monstrous scowl. Perhaps it was decided this was a little too at odds with Korg’s friendly demeanour?
