Rapper and actor T.I. has confirmed his return in the upcoming Ant-Man and The Wasp.

T.I. was in attendance at an event for the upcoming third season of NBC’s The Carmichael Show in New York yesterday when he was asked by Blackfilm.com whether or not he would be returning as Dave in the sequel. The actor offered a nod and confirmed that he would start shooting in July.

Plot details are under wraps but it’s possible the sequel could further explore Pym’s past and the devastating loss of his wife Janet after she was lost in the quantum realm. Following Scott’s return from the quantum realm in Ant-Man, Pym was left wondering whether or not it was possible that Janet could still be alive.

In Ant-Man and The Wasp, Paul Rudd will return as the titular hero along with Evangeline Lilly who will suit up as The Wasp this time around. The actress recently confirmed she had been fitted for her Wasp costume. Michael Douglas, Michael Peña and David Dastmalchian are also returning, as well as Peyton Reed who returns to direct.

Ant-Man and The Wasp hits theaters July 6, 2018.
