Time Travel May Have Gotten Confirmed For ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Time travel may be confirmed for the Avengers in Endgame after a casting list revealed the roles of two actors which seemingly exist in 1970.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the plot of Avengers: Endgame. Directors The Russo Brothers won’t let anything slip and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige stated that advertisement for the movie will focus in the movie’s first minutes. Nonetheless, MCU fans are relentless and they have a lot to show for it. Speculation and theories about the film fly every day as people dissect every single clue regarding new content released and old movies.

This time, it seems a casting list confirms a theory that has been around for a while. The theory claims that the remaining Avengers will team up with Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang to use the Quantum Realm as a means to travel through time and fix the Decimation caused by Thanos’ snap. Obviously, we’ve got no confirmation from Marvel about this, but the casting list maybe spoke for itself. Actor Miles Webb and actress Monica Mathis are playing the roles of 1970’s scientist and 70’s car girl #1, respectively. This begs the question: What are the Avengers, or the film for that matter, doing in the 1970s?

Of course, IMDb can sometimes be altered and this could all be rubbish. But, if true this could mean that there’s a flashback of sorts regarding other famous characters of the MCU like Howard Stark or even Henry Pym, but it doesn’t completely fit. After behind the scenes footage was released last year and some toys leaked recently, people are starting to notice that the time traveling theory may be indeed true. Nevertheless, this could also be a ruse staged by the Russo Brothers to purposely mislead the fans, which they already did in the past with Avengers: Infinity War. In the end, it’s all very convoluted and we’ll know for sure what Marvel Studios has under wraps when Endgame releases in April later this year.

A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
