Tina Guo, the cellist behind the 'Wonder Woman' theme has released a new music video for the piece. Watch the music video here.
Now, the woman behind the Wonder Woman theme, world-renowned cellist and composer Tina Guo, has a new music video for the theme she performed, which was composed by Hans Zimmer, and IGN has premiered the video a day ahead of its official release. You can check it out below.
Although not featured in any marketing materials since, the theme first appeared in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins has said that, even though she loves the theme, this version of it is for the mature version of Wonder Woman and not the version of the character we’ll be seeing in her upcoming standalone film. So, don’t expect to hear much more of the theme for now, but be prepared for it to reappear in Justice League in November.
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers… and her true destiny.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Ewen Bremner, and Saïd Taghmaoui.
Wonder Woman hits theaters June 2, 2017.
