Titans star Anna Diop, who portrays Starfire in the upcoming DC universe series, has disabled her Instagram comments due to racist attacks.
Diop is yet another victim to ignorant, racist comments made on social media. The actress disabled the comments on her Instagram posts following the release of the first Titans trailer last week.
Most recently, Star Wars: The Last Jedi‘s Kelly Marie Tran left Instagram all together due to racist comments not unlike the ones attacking Diop. The actress has six posts on her account including one of her announcing a role in Jordan Peele’s upcoming film, Us.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and lovable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.
Titans is set to premiere in 2018 on DC Universe.
