‘Titans’ Photos Reveal New Look At Anna Diop’s Comic-Accurate Starfire Suit

The costume for Anna Diop’s Starfire in the first season of Titans an uncalled-for level of backlash from ‘fans’ due to its notable differences from the comic suit. However, Anna Diop’s Starfire will be getting a new outfit for the second season of the DC Universe series that more closely resembles the suit of her comic book counterpart and new behind-the-scenes images offer fans a look at the updated costume.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Richard “Dick” Grayson / Robin, Anna Diop as Koriand’r / Starfire, Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth / Raven, and Ryan Potter as Garfield “Gar” Logan / Beast Boy. The series is also making a few additions for its sophomore outing, with Joshua Orpin and Esai Morales playing Superboy and Deathstroke, respectively. Chella Man and Chelsea T. Zhang have also joined Titans as Deathstroke’s children. Furthermore, Game of Thrones star Iain Glen is set to play Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman.

Titans is now available exclusively on DC Universe in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
